The 39-year-old former Portugal international is currently calling the shots at Sporting, but is ready to embrace an exciting new challenge in England from the start of next season. Amorim emerged as a top target for those at Anfield after it became clear that current Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso will not become available this summer.
